Floor & Decor — Attraction in Avon

We are building a large home with 7 bathrooms and making tile decisions was hard. This store has the most bathroom displays to help make your selections easy - and trust me, I have gone to about 10 if the largest tile stores within a 60 mile radius to make sure I knew exactly what was out there. If the tile your considering isn’t part of one of their displays, no worries - EVERY tile they sell they show you what it looks like and let’s you know the grout they used. They have very high quality marble of all colors, all colors of glass, mosaics, etc. Everything you see is IN STOCK and that saves so much time. Oh and I should mention - They take EVERYTHING back, even individual pieces, so if you change your mind (as I did often) nothing could be easier. You don’t even need your receipt as they have all your info under your phone number.

Gabriel is out of this world - has worked in the business for decades and knows everything about tile. ALL the employees there are amazing, I wish I knew everyone’s name. My husband and I went there every Sunday for literally 3 months straight - most Sundays we were there 4+ hours. Lastly - Beware buying online!! You will rarely find a price better than Floor & Decor, and if you’re buying a marble, then you really want to see the item you are buying as there is way too much variation in natural stone. Plus, you always need to buy more and returns online are a pain and never get done. If I could give Floor & Decor a 6, I would! No matter how far away you are, it’s worth the trip. We are from Lexington and I happily made the trip to get what I wanted when I wanted it, all with amazing service and top notch advice and guidance about installation. Went to Floor & Decor on March 8th to pick up some flooring that I decided to have installed in a master bedroom. Unfortunately, they only had a few bundles of the flooring I needed in stock. I was then approached by David A one of the employees. After telling him what I was looking for he took the initiative to look up the product to see if it was available at any of the store locations or if they would be getting more of my flooring in at the Avon location. As it turned out, there was more of my flooring due to arrive in Avon in a few days, which suited my schedule well. He also hepled me select the molding and threshold that i wanted as well. David A did a great job. He was extremely helpful, knowlegeable, and professional . I also encountered the store manager named Mikail on this visit who was eager to point me in the right direction for the flooring I wanted. He genuinely appears to care about his customers and wants to ensure they're happy and get what they need Sisi, who checked us out at the register also did a great job. She was personable, patient, and knowledgeable in answering our questions and any concerns we may have had regarding our order. I visited the Avon store twice and found what I wanted to order. It was a busy day, and an associate told me that I could order online and that would be the same as ordering in the store. It all went wrong from there. I waited over a week and didn't hear about a delivery date. I made multiple calls to the ecommerce number with long (up to an hour) waits on hold and promises to call me back that were not followed up on, I went to the Avon store and a helpful manager spent time unraveling the problem with my order. Ecommerce was then supposed to call me to follow up, but of course, no one called. More calls to ecommerce, as they were having a hard time getting the product together (it's one small bathroom). Eventually, learned that they canceled my order but they didn't know why. So they had to restart the process. A month after I placed my order it arrived. Instead of the 7 boxes of floor tile I ordered, just 7 pieces were delivered. And of course the Avon store doesn't actually have the tile to make up the difference.
