My daughter's bridal shower was here a few days ago. Becky and all the staff were absolutely wonderful and the wine was delicious! Presentation of the charcuterie board was fabulous and I heard it was good meat/cheese (I was so busy I didn't get to eat much). Staff was attentive and the atmosphere was perfect for the bridal shower. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the air vents were leaking and they had a few buckets here and there to capture drips. The building is old with a flat roof which probably didn't help the situation with the rain cuz it was pouring (record rain since 1942 in fact) so construction and signage along with roads to reach the actual venue were not ideal for guests. All things considered though, venue was perfect for our purposes and staff attentiveness made it a great event/day. I recommend that anyone searching for a shower venue give 199Winery a look! Finally, an awesome winery in our neck of the woods!
Unlike the other winery down the road from our home, 199 Winery is run by owners/staff who are adults, know what they are doing, know what they are talking about, are friendly, and have some very good wines. They are well organized, too.

We had three flights of wine, all ranged from 'good' to 'awesome' - not a dud in the bunch. We also purchased some to take home, please see the picture I've enclosed.

Low key, non-pretentious winery. I went on a friday night, and they had karaoke. Everyone who I spoke with who worked there was very friendly. My friend and I did the deal to do a tasting, a glass of our favorite wine we tried, and a wine glass to take home. It was a fun deal. We also split a charcuterie board, which was well worth the cost. Great portion size. The wine has fun flavors, such as an apple riesling. Their jalapeño shot was worth a try.
