On The Patio — Restaurant in Azle

I had been to on the patio before a couple times. I thought it was a rather decent place. It's been a few months since I've been back and decided to take my sons great grandfather out to eat there tonight. We were seated by the manager who was incredibly sweet, very nice and helpful. I was blown away at how unhelpful the other waitresses were "because we weren't their table". I felt so bad for our waitress be side she has to work with such unhelpful young rude young coworkers. out of the few waitresses there, I stared at each one in the eyes trying to get service as o could tell our waitress was busy. one blonde literally walked our way and as I'm waving her over, she stops to hug a gentleman one table away and starts chatting up as if she had absolutely nothing to do and acted as of she literally didn't see me. another strawberry blonde/red head girl walked right passed us as well and I even said mam as she walked right next to me and she flat out ignored me and kept walking. one blonde with glasses ignored us as well. we couldn't believe the "customer service" the waitresses there lacked. our waitress Kay was busy, and no one could help her out and get our food order from us. As a waitress of five years now I was just absolutely dumbfounded. I made sure to tip our waitress over 20% because I felt so bad for her having to work in an environment like that. They need some serious help with their customer service and teamwork skills. That restaurant has so much potential and could be running much smoother if they did. If I was to go back, it would only be for the bartender (who was very nice and helpful as well when we needed silverware) the manager and Kay. Other than that, the rest of the crew can be let go and be replaced. or maybe learn some customer service skills atleast....

Never expected fast food but over forty minutes waiting and our appetizer never even came out. By the time our food got to us it was cold but at least by the time we had almost finished eating our artic styled entrees our fresh potato skins came out it only took an hour to grow and harvest them but hey at least they came out hott, our second waitress ( not by complaint that the first one was more concerned with anything than her tables who had started considering the best camping place in the restaurant would be while we waited for the steak to hop on the grill itself, but at least she was able to go home early and hand it off to a waitress who was willing to at least appear upset that we was still suffering through a giants and Falcons game on t.v. ) made sure to apologize and keep an eye on us and get our food out and have the manager comp our appetizer although I guess it might have been nice if after such a crappy experience he might have at least come and tried to say something to us himself but i get it he was busy with the other three tables of people earing there....terrible service, cold food, poorly run, food at least tasted pretty good I'm sure it would've been great if it was at least a few degrees above a cold room temperature. Maybe try it again after they restaff or open a different...

We usually love this place ..but tonight , the behavior from the “So- called manger “was completely Ridiculous , unprofessional and uncalled for ... My burger was awesome ,even though they left off the bacon.... My daughters meal (Philly cheesesteak sandwich )was stone cold almost as if the meat had not been completely thawed . We asked our waiter to take it back and just trade it for a burger sense mine was delicious. The waiter agreed and took it back . Later the waiter walked up to my daughter and told her that the manager told him to tell her that her sandwich was fine and NOT cold ! FIRST of all ... why didn’t the manager come over and tell us himself instead of sitting 20 feet away watching the football game , drinking beer and staring a hole through us like a pouting child,the entire time we were there !! Sir ,I spent over 60.00 at your establishment and have almost weekly for over a year ! Funny thing is , everyone we’ve ever delt with there has been awesome and this is the only time we have ever sent something back. I will be back because we love this place ! Good food , cold drinks and friendly staff. This character on the other hand could use a little brush up on managing a restaurant and dealing...
