Santa Fe Dam, Bike Entry — Attraction in Azusa

As a Cyclist riding with a Cycling Team (SHARKS) that enjoy rides on the coast south of Santa Fe Dam,,I prefer these Spectacular Mountains to get my ride on alongside The Santa Fe Dam,,The San Gabriel river bike path running alongside the San Gabriel river to Chalan rest stop & leading up to the entrance to Santa Fe Dam..jus amazing to venture into Santa Fe Dam,,cuz there is so much fun to do ,,I mean , Seriously,,this place is endless.."CAN DO" is here.. That's what I call this place.. because here,, You CAN DO Swimming,, Boating,, Fishing,, Running ,, jogging,, Walking,, Cycling,, BBQin,, Picnicking,, Partying (b-days),, Adult Partying (noKids),,but you'll Wana bring the kids (no choice) A MUST.. Hiking,, Relaxing,, taking Picshots,, getting away are just a few things that you "CAN DO" here @ CAN DO DAM,,I meant...

Amazing how many homeless people there are. The restrooms just north of the 210 fwy can't stop there it's a village of homeless people. The amount of trash along the bike path is disgusting. I'd try and avoid that area until it gets cleaned up. Not sure who's in charge but they have some serious issues there. The bad thing is it will be tax payer money to clean...

Crowed on holidays, especially Easter. Plenty of walking and bike trails to go on. There are also roofed shelters with barbecue grills and trash cans. There are plenty of workers traversing, cleaning up the areas. Quite relaxing and peaceful if it wasn't for the inconsiderate people...
