Happy I was able to try out a new business today. Food was very good. Not quite Tacos Franc from TJ, but something I think locals will really enjoy and please local palates. Asada quality was really good and had nice flavors from the mesquite or charcoal cooking. it really makes a difference. Could have used a little more smoke for me though. Home made tortillas were also a pleasant surprise and made for a great vehicle for the meat and guac. The best taco was the keto one though, maybe because it was dripping with cheese grease :) I didn’t enjoy the Al pastor as much, but I didn’t see the trompo going though, so maybe too early for the off the trompo flavors. Salsa bar, large dining area and pleasant service rounded out a really good experience. I personally like bolder flavors, but my GF likes enjoyed her meal and I think this is a great alternative to taco stands and tricks for those wanting similar flavors in a real, super clean dining room. Really liked the ability to order extra directly from your table as well from the...
Read moreI typically come here for lunch and the lady there always is on top of everything. I think she’s the owner or owner’s family. She’s efficient and makes me feel welcome. I went there the other day after work to grab some Tacos. It’s a different cashier. When swiping my credit card, the loyalty program didn’t pop up as it always has. So I asked her about it and she either knew nothing about it or didn’t want to address my question. The wait time was around 20 minutes and she never made an attempt to give me a heads up that the wait could be long. It seemed that she couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want to talk to me to the point that I almost felt unwelcome there. At first, I thought she was socially inept. Then a Spanish-speaking customer came in. She was smiling and having a normal conversation with him. I’ll probably go back for their burritos and protein bowls. Hopefully not running into the same...
Read moreI mean where to start.. This was a last minute find and we are so glad we found this gem. The al pastor, carne asada, and pollo tacos were out of this world. The Al pastor was easily the best I’ve ever had in my life. For reference - If you guys ever saw the Ratatouille Pixar movie, that scene where Anton Ego (the food reviewer) has that first bite of the ratatouille dish, that was my exact moment when biting into the al pastor taco. The complimentary chips and homemade salsa that came with the tacos was amazing as well. Service top notch, drink selection solid, overall service 10/10. Will definitely...
