I was pleasantly surprised by this art installation--it is very simple but striking, and gives Bailey's Crossroads a sense of place and identity. These types of large sculptures are often seen around more affluent and gentrified areas such as Ballston and Rosslyn, so I was proud that this part of Falls Church was also identified as a prominent and established area of NOVA. I also really appreciate the sign next to the sculpture that explains the artists intent behind each component.
