If you’re looking for a true authentic experience on Bainbridge Island, visiting Rolling Bay Winery is simply a must! Our little group of four spontaneously stopped by last Saturday & decided to join in on the wine tasting. My personal favorite was the Chardonnay. Beyond the tasty wines, we were lucky enough to have Alphonse give us a tour of the barn where most of the production takes place. We learned a ton about their business, the process of making wine, & shared many laughs. Would highly recommend checking it out & definitely plan on returning in the future!

Popped in today and had a flight. A wide variety of grapes including Chardonnay, Grenache, and Mouvedre. And all quite good. We were personally served by the winemaker, Christophe. Nice insights into the wines and interesting conversation. As an amateur wine taster I fully recommend this little winery, and it also got a very nice review recently from Paul Gregutt, a professional sommelier (which is how I heard about it).

Had a fantastic experience here!! Highly recommended for wine lovers seeking a genuine experience. Booked a tasting ahead of time for my wife’s birthday, and drank over 7 styles of their wine. They have nearly 30 years of experience making natural wines that we we loved. The owner was incredibly personable, spending time with the guests to listen and talk wine. The staff their is great; it’s a family there.

Decent wine ruined by an uncomfortable experience. When we arrived, an older gentleman came out of the back room immediately wanting payment before the tasting began. While we were seated in the tasting room he continuously leered at us from behind a coat rack. Other older patrons were also staring at us. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable the entire time. I don’t recommend this winery for island visitors. There are many other better options like Eagle Harbor or...

There is a restaurant that claims its customers are family, but Rolling Bay actually does give that feeling. I expected to be plunked down at a table with some plonk, but I got a personal tasting complete with the story of the terroir of each vintage. It was a no-brainer to join their wine club. They even recommended that I join at the introductory level until I learned about their wines instead of immediately up-selling. The experience alone was worth the drive...
