5 STARS It's truly one of a kind and one of the most Unique wineries I have ever been to.

So my mom and I traveled to 4 different wineries around this area today. Out of the 4 other, Baltic Mill Winery is hands down the best overall experience we had. To start with it's a very cool environment that is meant to be explored and thoroughly enjoyed. It's an OLLLLD brick building that was once a grain mill and still has the old equipment inside. The place is WELL WORTH going out of your way for. I mean come on--it's ridiculously well kept, clean, and beautifully decorated with little lights and little accents everywhere. A very welcoming and warm environment that you'll adore and want to invite your friends back to.

One of the things that blew my mind is that the manager, Mitch, remembered my mom from a much earlier experience. It may sound like a small thing but it wasn't. It shows good service, and a personal touch to attentiveness which is commonly lost in this day and age.

Finally THE WINE! I know, Save the best for last. I'm a sucker for Sweet wines. The current selection is outstanding. "Rowville Red" is a 5 star sweet with a wonderful Concord Grape flavor. It would pair well with just about anything. It would be great for an after dinner drink but I wouldn't call it a dessert wine. Then we tried "Just Peachy" which is a wine perfect for Spring/Summer time. Great for sipping or sitting on the back porch with a glass while talking to friends. Finally, my other favorite is the "Strawberry Blonde" which (I'm not usually a fan of Strawberry wines) but this one is not to be missed. Definitely 5 +++++

They do sell out of things fairly commonly but have new wines coming in all the time

Excellent Service +++++ Excellent Environment +++++ Excellent Wine... +++++

What a great gem in the heart of Baltic. A turn of the century flour mill turned into a winery.

They offer handcrafted wine in a historical building that has features you will not see in today's architecture. Phenomenal woodwork on the inside dating back to the early century.

They have a great selection of wine. The usual reds, your whites, and then they also have strawberry wine, and blackberry wine among others. They have flights of wine that give you tastings of your choice. Flights run roughly $10. A bottle of wine hovers in the $20 range give or tank depending on what you are drinking. Their wine is very tasty and flavorful with great aroma.

They have a small menu of food. They have a fantastic meat and cheese plate. They also have a hummus and vegetable plate. If you want to go the meat route, they have pulled pork sliders. If you're really there to drink then grab a bottle of wine and some cheesecake. You can't go wrong.

There is a very nice patio in front of the winery. Parking can be a little sparse if there are some activities going on in the area.

You can go upstairs and take a look at all the old machinery they used when it was a flour mill. It is all still intact. The flour mill steam engine is still in the cellar where it was used years ago in the milling process.

This is a very unique and really cool place to sit down and have a glass of vino. It is worth a trip to check this place out. If you're in the...

This is a must stop if you are staying in & around the area! Baltic Mill is just that, it is a beautifully renovated(while keeping the original parts in tact) flour mill. The rustic beauty blended with the original space leaves you with a feeling of living history & comfort. We were greeted by Marilyn, our lovely host, who showed us the upstairs, which was mind blowing(the original belts & machinery that were still in place, like you could actually envision flour dust swirling all around & workers busying themselves with the daily "grind". Down in the basement is the absolutely amazing steam powered engine that ran everything...what a marvel! Aaahhhh....the wines! After enjoying a tour, we worked up a thirst & both of us shared the 8 flavors on the sweet side...our favorites being the Little Daisy & the Rowville Red. We enjoyed our flights sitting on a comfy couch, watching some older gentlemen playing cards(regulars, which is fantastic that this is their hangout!), while looking at the beautiful fireplace & surrounding grain shoots....this place is...
