You have to distinguish upper Herring Run from lower Herring Run. The upper part is lovely. The lower part is literally a dumping ground for mattresses and trash, which is a shame, because itā€™s a potentially beautiful area.

The lower part of herring run used to be really nice despite being an old dump. It was very peaceful up until 3-4 years ago i could walk for hoursand not see anyone.
