This is one of the most beautiful parks in Baltimore City. I especially love 💕 the houses that are in the Mayfield neighborhood right next to the park off of Harford Rd. Especially the big white on the has the southern porch with entrances on both sides. Also the treeline in the north end of the park where you can see the football field and the bridge on Chesterfield and Harford Rd is a sight to see 🙈. It's just so beautiful 😍❤️ how the treeline obscure everything up in Lauraville and Hamilton and you can't see no buildings or landmarks at all. I liked that cause it makes it look like there nothing up there. The only problem I have about this park is pedestrian 🚸 access. It is very dangerous and scary getting across Hillen Rd literally. As there is no pedestrian 🚸 crosswalk at the 35th Street intersection so you should not cross there. I walked down to Hillen and 33rd Streets and crossed their safely. But very scary as there is six lanes of traffic in Hillen. Three going on each side with 33rd having four on each and they turn while your crossing 🚸. So you have to watch over your shoulder while crossing. It was a hassle as I feel that there should be a pedestrian 🚸 crosswalk at 35th as Mervo High School is there..I know that kids cross at that intersection too as they aren't always aware of the dangers of jaywalking across a highway basically. In closing this area of the park the entrance needs to be made more pedestrian 🚸 friendly.
