Great park to spend some time at, though I have a few issues here stated below.

The porta pottys here are under padlock, meaning there is nowhere to use the bathroom other than the nearby restaurants or library, which is uncomfortable and inconvenient. Too many people feeding the ducks. The signs telling people not to are few and far between and it really makes me sad to see people harming these ducks with bread instead of oats or frozen peas. I have seen dead animals here before. There's a big issue with people letting their dog poop here and not picking it up. I'd be afraid to bring children here and have them wander off the path because of this. This park attracts a lot of unsavory people. I've been screamed at by people having some sort of mental episode, multiple times. A little scary. Local church uses the park as an advertising ground, filling every nook and cranny they can find with flyers that fall apart and become litter in the rain.

I do still come and wander about the park, in spite of the list above. If you can deal with the this, it's a good place to spend some time on a hot day. If you play Pokemon Go, you'll be hard pressed to find a better location for your hunting. They've built a large, friendly...

This lake hasn't been maintained for years. They let this structure decay to the point it would be condemned if it was anything else. Big chunks of bricks falling off onto the lower level. People on the top terrace part overlooking the lake while the bottom of the structure is cracking and falling apart in a 4 corners. Safety rails completely missing bars and sections and some sections bolted into nothing but bare are. The drinking fountain has a giant orange highway barrel over top of it. I noticed most nice photos of this lake are old or only focus on a few of the only good parts. My photos was taken July 1st 2025. There is also geese crap all over the entire lake sidewalk especially on the lower level. Don't walk it at night or it's impossible to not step in at least...

Lake Anna Park is awesome for the most part. They do their best to keep the riff-raff out, there is beautiful scenery, and although at times there are an excessive amount of Pokemon go players, they never really cause any trouble. Plus, it's literally right next to the police station (and the library). I only vote it four out of five stars because sometimes it could be cleaned up better, and occasionally there are some shady people.. but, in this day and age there's a little bit of shade everywhere you go. Aside from that, there are events here, bands play, sometimes there are weddings, and it's a great place to go to relax, fish, walk around, enjoy the scenery, appreciate the monument, and have...

Located in the center of downtown Barberton, OH. The park is 21 acres of with 10 acres consisting of a glacial spring fed lake. Surrounded on three sides of the upper level (.7 mile walk around lake) by turn-of -the-century homes. The lower level is a half-mile walk. Grew up here and spent many afternoon here. Have a swimming area, jogging/walking paved walks and can also fish here. There is a gazebo where summer concerts are held, statue of O.C. Barber (city founder), a war memorial and two swans that make the lake home. The long running free Mum Fest is held here in late September every year. Nice place to grow up and visit.
