My family had the worst experience I’ve ever encountered at a roller rink in my life. I would like to simply say it was the poor staffing, but it went all the way up to the management. I’ve have frequently went to this establishment with my church and I have thrown multiple birthday parties for my children here. But after this last experience I must say I will NEVER return. The food was horrible, the music unbearable, and the manager VERY VERY RUDE. I ordered food that never came. When I complained after seeing this happen to another individual as well, they brought my family food to us cold. It was so cold I told the manager to touch it and feel the lack of warmth. He then said what do you want me to do about it. I thought this was a joke. I responded it would be nice to receive hot food to start. He then tried to blame me for why I hadn’t received our food as if I wouldn’t have kindly given my name so that they could call me to pick up my order. They never asked me for my name. He then continue to be rude after we had to wait another 15 minutes just to receive fresh fries. The kids were willing to eat their sandwiches. They were hungry. Then the manager proceeded to bring a smaller order than what was on my tray initially. At this point, I’m only trying to salvage the night for my children. The manager was even at the point where he did not want to release his name to me. I wanted to know the general manager but he refused to give me any information. This is pathetic and unprofessional for an establishment. If they don’t value their customer base, then I will gladly take my money and inform anyone else I know that this is not the place to go for a...
Read moreI had many memories at this place. Inside you have arcade games, bowling, black light mini golf, laser tag, bumper cars, and roller skating. Outdoor during the summer you have go-karts, bumper boats, water wars, batting cages, mini golf, and jump shot basketball.
Arcade games are your usual family friendly games, you’re not going to find your teenager/adult games that you see at Round One or Dave and Busters. Bowling was always enjoyable. The rates for bowling and renting your shoes are very economical. I’ve only done the black light mini gold twice. It has a good amount of courses and I loved all of the props throughout the courses. I wasn’t able to do laser tag or bumper cars because there wasn’t enough interest for them to operate them at the time. Roller skating is worth checking out. Black light mini golf is $6. Laser tag is $7. Bumper cars are $5. Roller skating is $7 and renal skates are $3.
They have a family track and fast track for the go-karts, priced at $7-8. I never got a chance to try out your bumper boats and water wars. Bumper boats didn’t have enough people. Water wars is $3.50 for 8 balloons. Batting cages are $45 for an hour with a reservation. Mini golf is a good deal. For 18 holes, it’s $8. They have many options for families as well as dates. Food is nothing special. However, you’re not too far from restaurants in downtown Batavia or Lake Street in Aurora. Parking you won’t have a problem. They have 2 parking lots. One in the front and one in the back (close to the outdoor...
Read moreARCADE REVIEW/EXPERIENCE *Stingy on tickets earned *High cost to play games *No hand sanitizer was filled *Fun mini golf inside Funway is overall a 10/10 fun place, but my review is with the arcade. I brought my 9 year old to go play some arcade games and gave her $10 to spend. Just wow. Firstly, she was only able to play like 5 games... lol FIVE games of 20min being there. There are rarely any for under $1.00 per game with the max for any actually fun game like a shooting game or driving game at $1.50! What!? This is crazy to me..had she been able to play a lot more games I'd have considered adding more money which leads to my second issue. Out of those minimal games she played, one glitched out and 3 were just broken. The staff were helpful in giving us credit but at that point she was disappointed so I asked to play mini golf..was hoping maybe from our experience that they would just let her play 1 game on the house considering it was only $6... not 1 person in there and we had a poor arcade experience but no, they charged me which is fine I was just probably more upset than my daughter was. I asked for hand sanitizer after mini golf in which several of the dispensers were all empty. She had fun with the mini golf which made up for the arcade. I'm very disappointed in the cost and if it was more affordable to play there I'd bring my kids more often. 😔...
