Beautiful and tucked away Forest Preserve along the Fox River! I was the only person here when I visited, and it seems the nearby Red Oak Nature Center and Lippold Park get most of the traffic.
This Forest Preseve is one of many along the Fox River Trail. You can access it via the trail, or there's a parking lot. This is a nice place for a pit stop if you're walking or biking the trail, as there's a clean restroom, picnic shelter, and great access to the Fox River, providing beautiful views.
