Tillamook Country Smoker Factory Outlet — Attraction in Bay City

Oh boy what a treat. Heading home from Washington State after seeing my mother I decided to take 101 south and I'm sure glad I did Oregon Washington Northern California what a beautiful place but what I really liked was the town and the area called Tillamook all I can think about was cheese wanted to buy some cheese especially some cheese curds something you don't normally get to buy it in our area of the country. So I see a Tillamook stand store on the side of the road pull in park walk up to it thinking boy I will get some cheese. What a surprise this place has jerky and beef sticks not what I was expecting I had no idea that Tillamook even produce such an item but I'll tell you what where I live a pound of jerky cost 2450 2550 a pound inside the store they have one pound packages I think they were just bits and pieces but who cares when it's jerky for $10 a bag for 1 lb you can't beat that that's over half price from what I'm used to buying unfortunately I only bought one and I bought one for my son I should have bought two or three of each flavor. I'm planning another trip to see my mother to take my brother she's 87 years old and I just want to make sure that she sees everybody well she still can and I am definitely going to go down the same route and I'm planning on buying a lot of jerky I mean a lot of jerky I'm not sure how long I can keep it at least several months worth so I guess what I'm saying is if you're traveling 101 and you go through the town of Tillamook or anywhere in the area look for these roadside stands I came across two of them one selling beef that's the northern most of the two and then another one selling ice cream and cheese and it's really large I think that's the main one everybody goes to. I know if I was Tillamook I would be pushing my beef products. So treat yourself I guarantee you will not be disappointed driving north or south on 101 through Tillamook look for the distribution centers stop and enjoy a little taste of the Oregon brand Tillamook you will not be disappointed again cuz I've already said that once or twice anyway that's all I have to say safe travels stay safe and enjoy life while you...

I’m proud to tout this company because this company is as legit as the word legit can get. As a true Oregonian, I have been here at least 10 times that I can remember...sorry to burst your bubble, but their factory store is woefully cramped and horrible...and guess what, I unabashedly love it! If you’re in this area, I’m sure you visited Tillamook Creamery as well (which is freaking awesomely delicious, especially including samples). The Tillamook Country Smoker is just NorthWest of the Tillamook Creamery on HWY 101 on the right hand side of the road. I cannot say enough good things about Tillamook Country Smoker because, first of all, the entrance to their shop, let alone building is as nondescript as a honey bucket door. We really used to like this place, from Portland we would stop at the outlet store on every trip to the coast. Found out on a previous trip the company had a new owner. Many changes: The old outlet was closed and only the on old service station on the hwy remains. Prices have gone up the store is smaller and crowded. I can live with that but the quality has dropped. Look at the pictures my wife and her sister went to the coast and bought some meet sticks. Not even past the sell by date they were refrigerated at 37 degrees after opening. Notice the MOLD? i would not feed it to my dog, Raised one star as calling customer service, they will be sending me a replacement , Nice employees, but poor ownership We have been going there for over 30 years.
