Our second ๐Ÿฅˆ visit was soooo much better! The last time we visited it was closed ๐Ÿ”’ due to eagles nesting. There was an abandoned couch ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ and trash in the parking ๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ area. What an impressive improvement! Tidy, a porta potty, trash ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ can and picnic ๐Ÿงบ tables available. There were bridges and a bench as well. The section of the path we traveled is mowed and rocks have been placed along the trail. You cannot see the river very well with all of the foliage. We noticed different species of birds, especially turkeys. We also observed a rabbit ๐Ÿ‡ and squirrel ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ run across our path. We watched airplanes โœˆ๏ธ ascending and descending towards and away from the airport. It was an enjoyable walk and I want to come back and explore some more. I did walk across the railroad bridge. I do not know if it is still in use. There are no signs indicating either or. I would recommend basic caution. You do have great views of the Merrimack River. Sections of the trail could be closed between December -April for eagle...

Beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly easy to enjoy โ€” this trail is perfect for walkers of all levels. The path is flat and well-maintained, making it great for a relaxing stroll, light cardio, or even a mindful nature break. Itโ€™s not overly crowded, so you get that calm, refreshing vibe without the noise. Just donโ€™t forget to bring water on warmer days โ€” the sunshine hits different out here. Whether youโ€™re solo, with a friend, or just clearing your mind, this little gem...

A Nice place to walk by yourself or with partner! Not a lot to see. The bridge is part of the history of this place although it's not that accessible due to the fact that it has a trespass prohibition, however you still be able to take.pictures from far. The trail is a bit long if you are lazy to walk ๐Ÿ˜‰ my kids were complaining of lack of entertainment for them to see but its just their perspective it may be fun for others โ˜บ๏ธ there is a...

I was early for an appointment and needed a place to take a walk. I googled and found this,, with a small parking area.. Very pretty and easy one mile walking trail. Seems well used, but not crowded. I continued a second mile before returning. 2nd mile was fine, less traveled and not quite as pretty. Then I lost the trail-it says it's longer than that, but I couldn't find the trail in the wet leaves.
