Stopped by this evening with the hubby to check out the newest cookie place in town. Saw the sticky bun one on the menu. Being from Pennsylvania Dutch country and having access to fresh sticky buns made by our Amish neighbors, I had to see how it stacked up. Lol Not too bad. It’s obviously a different texture since it’s a cookie, but I can def taste the similarities. And it is super tasty. I’d give it an 8.5. 😊 We were able to meet the owner also while there and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Can’t wait til they get icecream in the next week or so!

I recently purchased cookies from Dirty Dough, and they were absolutely wonderful! The chocolate chip and chocolate peanut butter cookies, in particular, were to die for. OMG, the flavors transported me back home! The cookies had the perfect texture—crunchy on the edges with a gooey, delicious center. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. I also had the pleasure of trying their churros, which were amazing—a delightful treat! I will definitely be back to Dirty Dough. You must try it!

Great new specialty cookie store just opened about a week ago in Bee Cave next door to Shipley's (corner of 620 and Ladera). The cookies are huge, thick and delicious. I got a box of four cookies. I chose the brookie, cookies & cream, chocolate peanut butter and cinnamon bun flavor. You can easily cut them up into four pieces and have a sampling of each. The family who owns and runs this franchise live in Dripping Springs. Their son is the general store manager.

It’s okay. The employees are nice and work quickly. The cookies however weren’t anything to write home about. We took home all the ones on the menu to try. The horchata needed help. The cookie itself tasted like a very plain box mix sugar cookie and the icing wasn’t much of an horchata flavor at all. We chose that one as the least flavorful. No one went back for more. We also had some sort of chocolate caramel one. My mom liked it. I didn’t taste the caramel or whatever it was inside. The chocolate chip was my favorite but didn’t have that classic chocolate chip cookie flavor. Barely a taste there. No strong cookie flavor and the chocolate didn’t taste strongly of anything. We also had another chocolate fudge type. Again, nothing much there. My kids ate them but usually with them, if it’s great, they’ll fight over them. They stood there eating theirs and didn’t say much. They walked away afterwards. I asked how they were. “They’re good.” No excitement. I can’t remember the others. They’re forgettable obviously. There’s better cookies in town. This is a big miss. They also weren’t warm. Room temp to a bit cold. I’m crazy about cookies and will stop to buy them as gifts or as a break for myself....
