Great dog park! People are nice. Dogs are generally well-behaved. Other dog owners are usually good at taking dogs home when they misbehave (such as when they try to hump other dogs) and picking up after their dog. Bags are provided to pick up after your dog as well as a trash bin for dag waste. Busy times are 3pm until sunset and weekends all day if you want to get your dog socialized. Restrooms are closed, and water is shut off in the winter, so some people bring a big bottle of tap water to pour in the water dishes for all the thirsty dogs to drink. Read moreLOVE this dog park. Ground is soft grass, not rocks roots and tree stumps like other places. Also love that there’s a little wading pool and the water is actually clean. There’s a little bucket full of tennis balls if you’re a new mom like me and often forget, and there’s clean drinking water for the pups everywhere. BEST thing about this park is the owners - they actually take big dogs into the big dog section and little dogs into the little dog section, making it a fun and not scary place for my little pupper. Thanks Belfast Dog Park, you guys are...
