So I don't normally rant on FB...But this situation is unique. I want to express how throughly disappointed I am with service I received at Belfast subway today. First off my husband and I frequent there at least once week...so I would say we are regulars. Today I decided to expedite my order process by ordering online..seems logical right? Well I thought so to...so I left work on my 30 minute lunch break to go get my lunch...go to subway and pay for the sandwiches. Sooo when I get back to work and unwrap my sandwiches...Aaron's is 50% wrong and mine isn't anything close to what I ordered 😣😣😣. At this point my lunch is over and I have no time to take these sandwiches back.I call subway and ask for refund. I am told by the person on the phone to bring sandwiches back and they can fix them...I politely informed them...I do not have the time my lunch is over..I would just like my money back. I the employee tells me they need to call the owner to figure out how to do a refund from an online order. So after 3 phone calls back and forth to subway...I was finally put on touch with the owner...who was very condescending and told me that subway is like walmart...in that I need to return the merchandise to get a refund. I informed him that he has lost me as a customer and that was I will tell everyone I know what happened..and plaster this all over social media!!! I have since put in complaint into the...
Read moreI was appalled by the experience I had with your employee. It was nothing short of down right rude! I tried to call the Belfast Subway for two hours straight. The call either was busy or it seemed when the phone did ring, it continued for quite awhile then disconnected. When I went into to order, I asked the associate that was making my sandwich if there was a problem with the phones. She turned to the male associate and asked. He indicated that there was no issue. I started to explain the situation and he cut me off and abruptly told me there was no problem. I looked at him, and said, excuse me, I'm trying to let you know there IS a problem. He looked at me and said, Don't need the attitude. I was so taken back by this. I proceeded to pay for my sandwich and ask to speak with a manager. She came out of the back room and I started to to advise her about the associate and the phone. She didn't address either of my complaints and said they sometimes have problems with the phones. She was lying. I could tell by the look on her face. They had taken the phone off the hook. I can't prove this but I have called in the past and NEVER had an issue. Read moreI'm 50/50 with this place — When I order inside, FANTASTIC. No mistakes, food is delicious!!!! When I order online? Eh ... I'm shorted out quite a few dollars and/or get what I didn't ask for.
Examples; Last few times I have ordered salads online it is almost always FILLED with ingredients I do not like or am allergic to despite notes being put in and/or 100% removing ingredients from list (so order ends up in trash or given to someone else). Or vice versa is missing "extras" that cost money. My husband got a footlong sandwich recently (from ordering online) that was SOAKED in a sauce he can't have (which ended up being a waste of money going into the trash.) Today I ordered a footlong online and it's missing a few ingredents that I was charged for. But when ordering in the store I have no problem!
So, all in all, guess the store itself has no complaints from me ... but their online service could be worked...
