We love this park. It's beautiful. I love that it's dedicated to Ward Anderson. The playground is great for 2-3 and older. Lots of good equipment, plus the swings are solid enough for adults to swing too. There is a paved trail. It is stroller friendly. You've also got a basketball court with 1 hoop, a gravel lot about 40' x 40', some pavilions with grills, and bathrooms. The bathrooms are located in the big building towards the corner of the park. They're on the back side. They are closed at certain times of the year. This is easily our favorite local (to Shelbyville) park.

I came here to show my daughter where I went to school. I kept having dreams about moving back to Bell Buckle and took advantage of this beautiful day for some quality family time. Great place for kids to play. I don't know if there's a bathroom. My first time being here so I didn't walk the entire walking trail. There used to be a Bell Buckle Elementary/High School at this site till it burned down. Be careful of the mole holes if you walk in the grass. GO BLUE DEVILS!!

What a beautiful, well maintained park. Nice playground and basketball court. The walking paths were nice and wide, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the park. I loved all the markers identifying the different kinds of trees and plants.

My favorite park of all-time. Decently minimal amount of traffic (pending events or good summer weather) which is excellent for walking/biking while listening to e-books, podcasts, studying, contemplation, or other focused based activities.

Solid chance you will have the park to yourself preemptively and post sunrise, for those...
