My sweet friend Holly Smyth and I had tea in Bell Buckle on Saturday to celebrate my June birthday. It was 5 out of 5 experience! We are already planning to go back for a Christmas Tea to celebrate her birthday.

Our tea time was 3 pm and the Menu included:

Tomato Sandwich - Garden fresh sliced tomatoes atop white bread and vegetable cream cheese spread. Chicken Salad - Served on a croissant layered atop ripe strawberries Spinach and Bacon Quiche

Raspberry Lemon Scones with Lemon Curd and Devonshire Cream

Cream Cheese mints, Blackberry Macaroons, Lemon squares and Dark Chocolate Ganche Cups with fresh fruit garnish throughout

House Black Tea with Locally sourced Honey, Lemons and fresh cream

Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble Tea - soooo yummy. This was our specialty pot of tea. Tasted like the dessert but in a tea. Simply amazing!

Everything was homemade by Amy, the owner and our hostess, herself or locally and was delicious! If you’ve read the book, Amy is a real-life “Lessons in Chemistry” character! We had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy Afternoon Tea at Southern Charm over Labor Day weekend, and it was truly a phenomenal experience. The tea room was beautiful, the tea selections were excellent, and the Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake is a must-try.

Our hostess, Sophia, was outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly kind. The scones she made were delicious, and she checked in often to ensure we had everything we needed. Amy was also wonderful, making sure our visit was seamless and special from the moment we arrived until the time we left.

I love the selection of case knives this store has. My husband and I collect Case knives and have once bought a few from southern charm. Although I love the selection, I am giving them a 2 star review today because today is the second time my husband and I have driven hours out of the way just to visit the store and they are closed. Both times Google has said they were open and their website didn’t say they were closed but both times they were closed. It is very disappointing!
