National Imperial Glass Museum — Attraction in Bellaire

I finally had the chance to go to this museum and am so glad that I did. My mother collected some Imperial Glass and I have cherished it. I've added to what is now my collection, but my kids have never been interested in hearing about it. That is, until I took my 21 year old daughter with me to this wonderful place. We were so well attended to by the most gracious and informative docent and staff that she chose 4 glasses from the gift store to start her own collection. Worth the trip to visit! If you live local, this is an awesome place to volunteer! See the tools and moulds they used to manufacture glass at the Imperial Glass factory.
