I had the pleasure to photograph a wedding at Woodstock Farm recently and boy, is this one beautiful spot. Just south of Bellingham proper, the 'farm' is situated right above Bellingham Bay and has breathtaking views for a ceremony, first look, or portraits. The event space isn't overly large, but it's well-maintained and stylishly rustic. For very large weddings, parking might be a challenge, but the location probably makes it worthwhile. Not to mention the proximity of downtown Bellingham, literally minutes away, where dozens more locations and venues await and it's hard to beat.

A cozy little park with nice views on the bay. There is a small parking place at the entrance. There are more parking lots inside but I think they are available only in case I’d you rent the place. One can rent buildings inside for parties and celebrations. There is a nice walk with great views on the bay , boats , islands. It’s calm there. Nice place for a short walk and Picknick

I've driven by this place many many times. I always thought it was just another rich person's house, I was wrong. Parking lot is small but there is a lot to explore and beautiful views. Well worth just swinging by for 10 minutes or a couple hours and bring a snack.

Woodstock Farm is a hidden gem in Bellingham's Park system. Tucked off the side of Chuckanut Drive, this former "Gentleman's Farm" of Cyrus Gates is open to the public for outside enjoyment. The site sits perched on a bluff peninsula overlooking Mud & Chuckanut Bays with a view of the Olympic Mountains on a clear day. Trails wind through the property as you walk through history. Look to Recreation Northwest for a shuttle, clinics and hikes & bike rides...

So I'll start by saying there is VERY limited parking and you do have to make a bit of a walk down to the grassy yard space. That's the only downside though. The grass is green, the views are beautiful and the upside to the limited parking is that you don't have to share the space with many people. It is the perfect picnic spot but I also think it would a truly lovely venue for a wedding, family reunion, backyard...
