The Mile-Around Woods — Attraction in Bennington

We spent the week here in Bennington with a two year old huskie. Needless to say he needs to run and romp. The Mile-Around Woods is perfect, though some small dog owners take a risk by letting their dogs run right up to a large dog. In the area for a week vacation with our dogs and found the mile around after a quick search for walks in the area that were dog friendly. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wether it be walkers, dog walkers or runners. It's beautifully surrounded and has several different trails. What a very beautiful and peaceful place to be. Weekends a bit less peaceful, like anywhere else it's definitely busier on the weekends and quieter during the week. A great place to go to walk off some stress. The trail is pretty easy going I believe the trails are maintained enough you could probably push a stroller through.
