The lifeguards at this beach are so obnoxious. You can’t do anything on this beach. They are like overbearing afraid of everything parents. We just can’t stand it. Today we walked there and back two times. The smallest thunder that’s far away causes them to panic and throw everyone off the beach. Don’t get us started on the water. You can’t go swim peacefully without them blowing the whistle. Can’t get past where the waves smack you in the face because they just yell at you. It’s too much. They take the fun out of the beach experience. Please relax and loosen up and let us enjoy our summer. You guys are ruining it...
Read moreBy New Jersey standards, it's a very clean beach and relatively less crowded. The sand is soft, clean and the water will give you some nice waves to play in. The beach itself is quite narrow so that walk from the entrance to the water is minimal and barely 2 minutes.
Parking can be difficult and you may have to walk a bit but at least you can drive right up to the entrance with your stuff and then...
