Stromberg’s — Restaurant in Berkeley Township

This establishment had a strange smell when I first walked in but had minimal bugs for the time of night it was. It was missing a couple of flavors that we had hoped to experience but the ice cream was okay despite how pricey it was. The attendants seemed not to know how to do their job, unfortunately, though I suspect they may have been fairly new. However, what really made our experience a three of five was the fact that there was no parking and when we parked down the street, an angry woman came in and told us to move. The establishment said she had done this multiple times despite not owning the street, lying about the parking to get her way, and had had people towed. Walked up with my mother this evening for a late night craving, arrived at approximately 9:20 (they close at 10) though 3 girls were working, the line moved painfully slow. Overheard the girls talking about closing the doors on customers at 10pm which absolutely shocked both my mother and I. I’ve worked in ice cream for 6 years at 3 different places and I have NEVER heard of closing the door on customers (especially being a seasonal establishment) I guess you can say that we were “lucky” to have made it through the door but not before they crammed more people inside which made me anxious (didn’t we just come out of a pandemic?). Went last week and the ice cream was completely melted. Then tried it again tonight to give them the benefit of the doubt and their card machine stopped working after already eating half of our ice cream. They told us we had to figure out how to pay for it another way since their machine is out. Normally I would understand that IF it happened before we ordered the ice cream.
