Shorebird Park — Attraction in Berkeley

The marina has changed drastically since the closing of Hs Lordships. The parking is terrible, very crowded, the loss of over 3/4 of the parking spaces is making a huge negative impact on the enjoyment factor. People are squeezing into small spaces, hitting cars when pulling in and out and the reception is horrible on the bank side.

What a tucked away away spot to come across with my wife. We came across this spot after having dinner at Hana Japan. We were in absolute awe because it was very serene.

We saw pol just relaxing in their cars, some ppl were fishing and others just taking it all in. Had a great conversation with a car neighbor who told us about some spots here in Berkeley and Oakland to go and check out.
