Roaming Bean Coffee — Restaurant in Berkeley

We found the Roaming Bean cafe team at the SF Coffee festival and loved their coffee and immediately got the idea to have them at our wedding reception in Berkeley.

From the beginning of the planning phases, Jasraj's passion for coffee and catering drinks to fit our likes and the season was very clear - he came up with very interesting ideas for drinks to serve at our event! At the event itself, having his coffee cart was a great hit and we received many amazing reviews from our guests. Jasraj and team were able to quickly serve 5 different types of drinks/dessert with high quality (Espresso, Cappuccino, Cardamom latte, Affogato, Hibiscus tea.) We had lots of guests interested in all of these drinks, and due to their promptness, there was not much of a wait and the guests were delighted with what they got! We had more than anticipated demand, and Roaming Bean was also able to scale on demand at the event itself.

I don't drink coffee, but my husband is a coffee snob - special burr grinder, vintage Pavoni machine, scale to weigh the beans - you get the picture. :) We hired Jasraj and Roaming Bean Coffee for our 30th wedding anniversary vow renewal after he tasted one of Jasraj's cappuccinos. So Jasraj celebrated his own birthday by serving delicious drinks to our ReUnion guests visiting from around the country. Jasraj was both a caring human and a considerate professional from the moment we contacted him - he worked with us to create the menu for our event and allowed us to pay in installments. Every single guest I spoke with RAVED about Roaming Bean's coffee - and not a polite response to a query, but an unprompted full-throated endorsement. Delicious coffee down at the Marina? Hell yeah, pls & thank you! ❤️‍🔥 Jasraj, the owner of Roaming Bean Coffee, is super chill & kind, obviously loves what he does, and imho he definitely knows his craft. My latte was perfect. I'm no expert by far, but I do know a bit, I love me some good coffee, and I've had espresso & lattes both good & bad.... and I'm just sayin, Roaming Bean does it RIGHT. Temperature, taste, everything. Seriously- for me, at least, this was the perfect latte. And they're MOBILE! Friggin awesome! He said they'd been at César Chávez Park for awhile but plan on being here at the Berkeley Marina on the weekends (next to the public Small Craft Launching Docks, next to Cal Sailing Club) for a number of weeks to come.
