Masserant's Feed & Grain — Attraction in Berlin Charter Township

Not the typical modern retail experience. This is an old fashioned feed and grain "mill" facility. There's a small and densely packed retail area up the steps and inside that holds livestock/pet and garden supplies and items, some bulk seeds and seasonal supplies.

Be aware of the shorter Saturday hours open.

Feeds, and other bulk items are ordered and paid for at the counter, and delivered to you at the adjacent loading dock when you present your bill of sale. They'll almost always offer to help load heavy things into my vehicle, and are eager to help carry them if asked.

Don't be put off by the unique setup, it's how they've served area farmers for decades: No fake smiles or forced "greetings" when you walk in the door, no shopping carts or customer surveys. This is an actual "feed and grain" elevator, still configured mostly for those working farmers.
