I need help getting in my wheelchair from my lift chair and the woman just leaves me.the same woman got me in my pjs and sitting in my wheelchair next to my bed. She left and said I’ll be back. Two hours later she came back and left I’ve got a feeling she’s gonna be going home because her shift is done at 11:00. I wouldn’t recommend you send your loved one here to way. I give this place only one star. They open your packages before they give it to you, which is against the enlaw. There is an aide here that doesn’t mind calling 911 for an ambulance to get you to the hospital. Even though sh Guess what, you get hit with all the medical bills.I WOULDN’t recommend this place to anyone. If you need something no one answers the call button around your neck scks plus nobody answers the phone either. You call and they’ll put you through to another agent and nobody answers that phone so you’re stuck. There are a couple GOOD workers here. The aide caused my injury . The aide that called 911 to take me to the hospital to find out I have a...
Read moreMy mother was a resident at Spring Oak of Berlin until her passing at age 97 late last year. We were very grateful to the amazing staff for their huge hearts and caring compassion, especially as Mom's dementia progressed. One thing she always raved about was the food, and she consistently said, "No French restaurant has anything on the chef here!" :-) The activities department under the direction of Terri Vogel is simply wonderful in coming up with new, creative and fun events for residents and volunteers like myself to participate in. Sherri Kohl is a terrific and accessible Director, with an excellent Assistant Director, Michelle Medora. Saving a huge SHOUTOUT to the nursing staff - THANK YOU for everything you did to make my mother's time at Spring Oak of Berlin a peaceful...
Read moreMy family just loved Spring Oak Berlin. From day one when we walked through with Sherry and Taylor, we knew this was the place for my grandmother. Unfortunately my grandmom only lived there 9 weeks before passing away, but her time there was wonderful! She absolutely loved it and the friends she made while living there. My 7 year old became “besties” with Miss Taylor. Toni at the front desk was always so friendly. Amanda, Lloyd, Kathy, Carol, Carmella…all took such good care of my grandmother. We are forever grateful for the 9 weeks we had there and highly recommend...
