Really, really, really amazing! Water was great, we put on waders and cleaned up trash for the Monocacy Watershed Association! We found three old bottles, one from 1915 and another from 1954. Trail was very well maintained, and the plants were beautiful. The rocky cliffs along the trail are awesome and we got a couple pictures of them. Train tracks were cool too. We also found a broken safe in the woods- it looks very old. There was a golf ball in it.

There’s two sides of this park. One side is nothing but dirt and forest trails. (Not wheel chair friendly or stroller friendly) must wear sneakers. The other side has a waterfall, tables, and a cement trail which is is wheel chair friendly, and stroller friendly. You could even wear sandals.

Love this walk. Did it today with the in-laws and doggies. I always see tons of birds on this trail, this time I picked up some railroad spikes as well as saw this fox.

The trail we took was the one that followed the Monacacy Creek. This is first time using this trail. I've only been to Illicks mill park. I found it quite serene with the Creek running by and walking through the woods on the paths. It's been years since I've walked through woods and it was very relieving to be able to get away from the noise and the signs of civilization. It's so ironic that this is just only 10 minutes away from where I live so close but yet so far.Just to have the trees, the ground, birds, plants all so beautiful , the Creek of nature's noise. The trail one way to the end it ends because it ends were you can't go any further was only .8 miles that's not bad. I Thought is interesting to see trees down in the woods and that had fallen into the monacacy Creek and to try and figure out how long they probably been laying there and with all the who knows how long they have been there could only be a short time were longer than that for years. I can tell that there's a lot of trees as well into 100 years when they went down. Some breaking down are that old that I can tell and have been about...

Very nice trail.

Incredibly scenic and not difficult at all. Relatively flat land too.

I went a few years ago with my little one when I first moved here and there were homeless encampments off the trail which made me worried to come back with my family.

Looks like they have since left the area so I have no...
