This place is awesome, and I wish I had known about these trails when I used to mountain bike more. I will still have to make it back here at some point to ride the trails instead of walking them. Trails are well kept and pretty well marked with different colored paint for the 3 different trail loops. With over 12 miles of trails, there is plenty of space to ride or walk for a while. I saw only one bench to sit down on throughout the trails, but I didn't make it to every trail. From all the recent rains, I saw a bunch of different types of mushrooms growing. Read moreOne of the best places to go Mt biking. Almost every section of trail has an A, B, and hero line, meaning Cross country bikes are just as at home here as a trail or Enduro style bike. It is a big enough area that you can spend a few hours here and never hit the same section twice. On a busy day I will see one or two other groups of riders. It never feels crowded. Some sections are flat some hilly, there are a few rock gardens and several huge boulder gardens, flowy flat and flowing downhill, some good climbs, natural and man made jumps. Once you get a few hundred yards into the place you would never know that you were only about 20 miles from the major city of Boston and all it’s hubbub. Rather, you might believe you are deep in a forest in Maine or New Hampshire.
