Pros: The coffee is excellent and the service is definitely attentive. We were checked on every five minutes, which was a little excessive but they just opened and it's a lot better than being ignored. They were so NICE, so clearly appreciative we were there. We tried a muffin and it was fresh. The meal was incredibly cheap at $30 total for two. Unheard of in 2023.
Cons: Our omelets were dry and a bit overcooked, which is unfortunately common in a lot of breakfast joints, but it was disappointing nevertheless. I'd hoped, since they were European, they'd be more cosmopolitan in their prep but, alas, dried out eggs. The jam and butter were those sad plastic containers of Smuckers and generic butter. The potatoes were unseasoned and the toast store-bought. I guess since it's Beverly Farms I expected maybe...more? Like homemade jam or at least not basic red-colored jelly. Bread could've easily been brought in from one of the many local bakeries. Am I a little snobby about my food? Yeah ok. But it's not hard to fancy up breakfast. This wasn't fancy. Except for the coffee. I'd suggest raising the bar and a nominal increase in prices would be fine as a result. The locals can afford it. And I'm always happy to pay more...
Read moreWords cannot explain how amazing this place is. I came here for the first time after living in the area for 5 years not know what to expect. I am greeted with such warmth by the cashier running the bar. Rare to find that nowadays, if you get me. I got myself a cappuccino to start off my meal and I’ve gotta say, it’s the best one I’ve had in years. I also got myself a bacon egg and avocado wrap with a spinach wrap not knowing this was going to be the best meal I’ve had in years. My server was super sweet and clarified a lot of things. The cashier was also running out food and drinks and everything came out in a timely manner. Nothing late, nothing cold. This place really knocked my socks off and I’m glad I finally caved in. I’d suggest this place to many others if they lived...
Read moreWest St Cafe is so cute and cozy! The environment is wholesome and relaxing. My friend and I ordered coffee, Lox Benedict, French Toast, and The Iron Plate, very fairly priced. Every single thing was high quality perfection👌🏽💯 and I never say that. We both cleared our plates. Aldo was very, very kind, attentive, genuinely relatable, even thoughtfully moved a table to accomodate our belongings. Upon leaving, a gentleman said from behind the kitchen wall "Thank you so much!", everyone there is just the best. Absolutely zero complaints about this place. The drive from Western NY was well worth it, will suggest it to my friends, and already looking forward to...
