This is an excellent trail. You should not try to summit if you are a novice hiker. The peak is eight miles with a4700foot elevation gain from the trail head. A moderately good hiker will make the summit in 4-5 hours. It can get cold up here even in summer so make sure to bring col weather gear and plenty of water. I recommend at least 3 liters. This is a strenuous hike, but the views are worth it. Backpacking campers can stay at Limber Pine camp about 2 miles...

San Bernardino Peak it's a 16+ mile trail out back and over 4500 ft elevation gain definitely a good workout for those looking to climb Mt Whitney it's perfect for adjusting to the elevation around 10649 ft, but its reward comes with the breathtaking views, you get It especially in the flat stone bench, like 15 min before summit. due to the fact that in the summit there are too many trees that prevent us from...
