The park itself I am happy with. Nice layout and interesting. BUT it's very unkempt. The city will not clean for nothing. Was wanting to have my wedding there a couple years ago. Was going to have to pay 300 for a Pavillion that they couldn't guarantee 100 that it would be available that day. Also there was and still is tons of trash all over the place. Asked if it could be cleaned before the wedding and was literally told that the city employees don't pick up trash if it's off the pathway. Like not even a couple steps off the path. Lady was kinda rude about it too. Not happy with how the city makes money off of it but can't clean it up. This city management needs a crash course in...

A lot of the times the grass is dead and there are no real plants to be found alive (except weeds and mesquite), but if you go after a good rain you'll see so many beautiful things sprouted over night. The old spring has turtles in it; the spring itself is non-functional now but it's still a gorgeous area to see anyway. You can walk, bbq, and picnic here. It has a playground, amphitheatre x2, baseball field, and plenty of pavilions to sit under. It's dog friendly, just please be sure to pick up after them and keep them on a...
Read moreGreat community park and so much to do. We appreciated the free overnight rv spots (no hookups, not very level, but at the price-free-- there's nothing to complain about). We felt safe and slept well. Bigger rigs (like us) will want to proceed carefully at the entrance, and be aware there's no turnaround loop. Since it was virtually empty, we were able to maneuver into a fairly level space at the bottom of the hill without difficulty.
