The specialty sandwiches (in picture: “Bat out of Hell”) are always delicious with well combined flavors, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is really lovely. There is a huge backyard-style outside area that is lovely to sit at. This is a great place to eat at, my only problem are the hours. I wish it was open more often at more convenient hours!

One sandwhich pricey $13, size of a big mac with chips. Spent total of $17 for a canned soda added. Don't know why I imagined a larger portion, unaffordable. But hey the spot is charming & whimsical of a old fashion former school house theme.

Stopped on our way through town on a road trip. We got the turkey sandwich and red pepper tomato soup and both were great. Plus they have my favorite chips - Miss Vickie’s bbq. Wish there was one in Austin so I could go again!

Wow! Simply put, an absolutely delicious meal with an fantastic atmosphere. The staff and owner were just truly lovely. We were on road trip from Southern Texas to Arizona and I found Locals online. I ordered the French dip and it was a gourmet treat with a rich delicious flavor. I was truly impressed as I found it to be a French dip to remember for sure. I also ordered the strawberry spinach salad. It was remarkably deeeeeelicious! Perfect combination of flavors with fresh strawberries, pecans, & feta all on fresh greens with excellent dressing. The owner, Kelly, checked in with us and she was so kind in a truly genuine way. The two young ladies working were also very helpful and so pleasant. Support this amazing business and you will not be disappointed. There is a reason for all the rave...

This is one of the best places I have been to eat in a long, long time. The food really is freshly made, not processed. We had the roast beef dip. It was fabulous. It was just a tiny bit of horseradish but so little it did not overcome for those who are not fond of horseradish. It is only open for lunch Monday - Friday. Closed evenings and weekends. But it is a great little lunch place. There is a nice little playground outside for children and picnic tables. It is clean. The restroom is clean. The service was good and the staff was friendly. They could possibly add a few more tables for all of the guests who will be coming. What a pleasure to find a nice little place like this one. Let's keep it on the downlow, so we...

What a hidden gem! The restaurant is bright, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was so friendly. You can tell they truly take pride in their business and food quality. We were coming through town and wanted something fresh, and Locals was perfect. We ordered each of the specialty sandwiches of the day, mine was a Caesar sandwich, and they were both delicious. I highly recommend stopping by. We’ll be going out of our way on future road trips just...
