A Cleaner World — Attraction in Blacksburg

We have used a cleaner world for several years - but I won't be back. It isn't because of the mess up but because of the way I was treated after I brought the mess up to the attention of the owner. I have taken five items back to them twice because the first time they were not pressed, multiple wrinkles one dress didn't look as though anything had been done. Round two picked up today - two dresses look ok two tops and one dress - not good. I called and was given to the owner. He was so unkind and unprofessional - no apology just made an unkind comment about my character. We all make mistakes no one is perfect it is about what you do next and what he did "next" was try to humiliate me and tried to make me think I was less than worthy of receiving a service I paid for. Everytime I come here, not only is everyone extremely nice and knowledgeable, but my clothes always come back perfect. I have used their same day services many times with promptness. I have also had them fix a few items of clothing, from replacing entire coat linings to reattaching buttons. I've only once had an issue where they had sewn a button onto my jacket through the pocket, but once I notified them they fixed it quickly and at no charge.

My best experience with A Cleaner World was when the owner came out to meet me (someone he has never met or heard of) well after hours when I had forgotten to pick up my (at the time) boyfriends suit. It was 100% my fault, but he helped me tremendously. My boyfriend wore the suit that weekend to propose! The owner would not take a penny over what I owed for cleaning services no matter how hard I tried. Super easy and quick to drop off and pick up my dry cleaning. They even have a drive around so you don't have to leave your car! I was really impressed with how my white coat came out. I've had it for almost 5 years, so it had picked up a number of stains. Almost all of the stains were gone when I got it back, and the few that were left were very faint. I was really surprised because the stains had been set in the fabric for multiple years. It looked close to new.

I also left my coat there for almost two months on accident, but no one commented on it. They just acted like it was any other order when I picked it up, which I was really relieved about. I'm so grateful they didn't just get rid of it or something like that since it took me so long...
