In my opinion, this is the best view in the entire area. There's a platform that you can climb up for a better vantage point, but it is only slightly better than the bottom of the viewing area. It's almost 180 degrees of lake in front of you, and it feels like the ocean.
As with all activities on the lake, bring a windbreaker!
If you have a dog, you should know that the steps are the steel grating kind that dogs sometimes get freaked out about, so you might have to carry your dog up if you want to share the view with them.
In the winter the bathrooms are locked, so be warned!

There is no better place to be than northern Michigan in the summertime, but Arcadia's Inspiration Point is a next level experience with phenomenal breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the surrounding landscape.
