Inspiration Point — Attraction in Blaine Township

In my opinion, this is the best view in the entire area. There's a platform that you can climb up for a better vantage point, but it is only slightly better than the bottom of the viewing area. It's almost 180 degrees of lake in front of you, and it feels like the ocean.

As with all activities on the lake, bring a windbreaker!

If you have a dog, you should know that the steps are the steel grating kind that dogs sometimes get freaked out about, so you might have to carry your dog up if you want to share the view with them.

In the winter the bathrooms are locked, so be warned!

This is one of the highest points that can be viewed almost by car. If your handicapped this is a great place for a amazing vista of our beloved beautiful lake Michigan brown sugar beaches that seem to go on endlessly. Surrender yourself to the world of tranquillity and inner peace ! And for the ambitious people out there , there's a platform for observation that you have to climb( no elevator), but it's worth the lil sweating! By far, one of the best roadside stops and vantage points in Michigan! We have visited many times over the years and have enjoyed it to the fullest.

There is no better place to be than northern Michigan in the summertime, but Arcadia's Inspiration Point is a next level experience with phenomenal breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the surrounding landscape.
