It is a nice little public park with a playground, two technically with one being for little ones. There is a large picnic shelter making it nice for outdoor events. Additionally there is a ball field, sand volleyball court and disc golf course, those being the least interesting bits. The best part is being able to head down the stairs to the walking path that runs along Nine Mile Creek all the way to the MN River, if you so choose. There are multiple little wooden bridges that will hop you back and forth across the creek as you go, easily forgetting you are in a more urban location as you are isolated down in the wooded ravine populated with a surprising amount of wildlife. I've catered many picnics here over the years with my job, including the large end of the year picnic for Bloomington schools. They have a large pavilion that is perfect for gatherings such as those and today there was a family reunion going on when I went. There are plenty of trails that are wide and paved down by 9 Mile Creek, as well as others that are more up in the woods that are not paved. There are lots of benches and places to sit and enjoy the creek. It's very lush and green in the summer. I will definitely be...
