Last weekend I took my daughter here. I wanted to show her old stuff and teach her about history. The people working there were very nice and had a lot of information to share with us. Then we went outside and I showed her my brick. I have for my father who passed away. My father grew up in Bloomington, so when he passed away, I decided I would buy a brick in his memory.

At the corner of Penn Avenue South and Old Shakopee Road, the Old Town Hall is one of the few remaining pieces of architecture from Bloomington's 19th century and and one of the last old town halls in the metropolitan area. Built in 1892, the building was once the community's assembly place for public meetings, church services and social gatherings.
