We went for a Luke Bryan concert and it was a disaster. Doors opened 1.5 hours late leaving everyone waiting out in the cold. The parking lots had no type of bathrooms to accommodate people. After the doors finally opened and making our way up to the gates, security didn't just do a quick check of my purse but rather opened every pocket inside and out scattering everything around. After taking off my belt and attempting to put it back on while security was chuckling I was getting frustrated but oh no it only gets worse from here. We make our way up to the top floor to find our seats in row 40 and an usher pointed us in the direction of row 40. I would say she pointed us in the right direction but since there was no row 40 I'm not sure where she was pointing us. Did I mention I purchased these tickets the morning they went on sale? How do you sell tickets for seats in a row that don't exist? People were clueless and didn't know what to tell us. After missing the first two acts they finally found us other seats. Poor customer service, disorganized and unprofessional! Oh and wait......after all that garbage, the concession stands, which sell very little to begin with, were out of hotdogs. After paying that much for tickets and going through this debacle it seemed like robbery. How do you sell tickets for seats that don't exist? Where is row 40? Who is responsible? Thanks for nothing Assembly Hall and in the future you should at least serve alcohol so people can at least be buzzed and hungry when they're told the seats they purchased...
Read moreHome sweet home. Ambiance has been diluted by athletic director's passion for putting loud, flashing, blaring, non stop advertisements everywhere.
Some of the ushers a little power hungry and aggressive.
Balcony seats cheap, but for good reason. Terrible view, long climb to get there.
Parking not well considered. Takes far too long to empty the lot after a game.
Little consideration to faithful, long time season ticket holders - even for those who stuck with the team through the rebuilding years. Doesn't matter how long you have reupped your tickets, some first timer shows up with a big check and you might get bumped out of your seats.
Lots to be unhappy about, but when the ball goes up the fans, students, and team make it all...
Read moreIt was our 1st time visiting Bloomington, IN. My spouse is a HUGE Tarheel fan, so he purchased tickets for us to see the ladies' game against Indiana Hoosiers on Dec. 1, 2022. Ironically, December 1, 2021, marked the day we saw our 1st live Tarheel men game in North Carolina. The Simon stadium was massive on the outside and spacious inside. Staff were friendly along with the locals. They told me where the concessions stands were, even joked about us wearing the wrong colors (team). I was in extreme awe of the statues and art displayed, so I had to take pics for the lifetime memories. We even had the best seats in the house since we...
