Bonita Beach Access #1 — Attraction in Bonita Springs

Awesome beach access. It's the first access just next to Doc's Beach House.

*Pros - On access 01 you're right on the relaxing and natural Bonita Springs Public Beach. Most time is not crowded. Clear Water. Feeling right as in home. Friendly people.

*Cons - Few free parking spots. No place to rent beach chairs, umbrellas. No shades. No water facilities to wash off sand. Sometimes the jetskis roaring may be a little mess.

Great spot, cheap metered parking with availability if you get there early enough. Quick access to the beach from the lot. Cabanas and chairs with umbrellas for rent and places to get drinks right on the beach. We had enough space to spread out. Der Barefoot Beach Strand in Bonita Springs wurde uns sehr empfohlen. Es gibt 2 Bereiche, einmal wenn man von der Bonita Beach Road auf den Barefoot Beach Boulevard abbiegt und dann ein ganzes Stück südlich fährt, durch die Wohnsiedlung. Hier kostet der Strandbesuch aber Eintritt ($ 8). Direkt am südlichen Beginn des Hickory Boulevard gibt es aber auch einen kostenlosen Strand, bzw. nur mit Parkgebühren ($ 2 pro Stunde - bleibt man also 4 Stunden, ist es der gleiche Preis) und das ist dieser hier, der sog. Barefoot Beach Access #1. In unmittelbarer Nähe um Doc's Beach House ist immer recht viel los (zur Hauptsaison). Wer etwas mehr Ruhe mag, geht einfach den Strand weiter rauf oder runter, bis er ein ruhigeres Plätzchen findet. Für "Action" ist hier auch gesorgt, denn es gibt ein Beachvolleyball-Feld. Außerdem die Möglichkeit sich ein Jet-Ski auszuleihen.

Der Strand ist sauber und gepflegt. Direkt beim Parkplatz gibt es auch noch überdachte Plätze mit massiven Tischen und Bänken, wo man z.B. Brotzeit machen kann und außerdem einen Grill, den man auch benutzen darf. Toiletten gibt es nur wenige Minuten entfernt im Bonita Beach Park.

Geöffnet ist der Strand laut Homepage ab 7 Uhr, laut Schild vor Ort ab 8 Uhr. Bis zum Sonnenuntergang darf...
