As has been mentioned, a lot of artifacts have been packed into this museum - displayed in a was to stimulate the imagination and interest rather than giving you a lot of signs to read. The person at the front desk was full of great stories about the town. The wooden clock collection is great, but I was taken aback by the collection of memorabilia from the local Order of the Knights of Pythias, of which I had never heard.

What a great little museum. Volunteers took extra time and interaction with our family. The clock collection in the back is absolutely fantastic. So much rich history backed into this quaint little museum. Thanks from #narrowroadschoolers

Staff was very friendly. There is tons of history packed in this little museum! You could spend hours in here with all of the information available. Our kids made it last 30 minutes which is pretty good for 2 year olds.

The Boundary County Museum is an absolute treasure for anyone interested in local history! They have so many fascinating artifacts that tell the story of our community, from its founders to the rich culture of the Kootenai Tribe. I always learn something new when I visit, and it’s easy to lose track of time—I could spend hours exploring the exhibits! The museum does an incredible job of preserving and sharing the history of Boundary County. The staff and volunteers are so passionate and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you love history and want to connect with the roots of North Idaho, this museum is...

There is alot of information and loads of things to look at. When I went the staff seemed cold and uninterested.

Like I said there is a lot of info on local history. You just have to read a lot of the placards. The items are also fairly well organized into groups. Start by the front door and work your way around!

Affordable...
