I recently visited this store while in town from out of state for my nephew’s high school graduation. After the ceremony and lunch at Mugsy, my mother, sister, and I—dressed appropriately for the occasion—decided to explore the downtown shops. My mother was looking for a white sweater for an upcoming business trip, and I came across several pairs of shoes I really liked.

Unfortunately, our shopping experience was overshadowed by how uncomfortable we felt in the store. An employee followed us so closely that it made it difficult to browse naturally. It created an atmosphere of distrust rather than hospitality.

After choosing a pair of shoes and proceeding to the register to pay, the employee commented on a stack of bracelets I was wearing. They were inexpensive pieces I had purchased at a boutique in Texas. She then left the register mid-transaction to check her store’s inventory—implying, quite clearly, that she believed I might have stolen them from the shop. I explained where I purchased them, but the suspicion remained, and no apology or clarification was offered.

This was both unprofessional and upsetting, especially considering I was making a legitimate $75 purchase. I left the store feeling unwelcome and unfairly judged. Based on this experience, I would not return, and I would caution others who expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped into The Dressing Room Boutique on our way home to Canada from Idaho, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem! It was my first time in, and I was so impressed. The clothing is stylish and rather posh, with excellent prices that make it even better. The boutique has such a fun, welcoming vibe, and I’ll definitely be returning in a couple of months to see their fall collection. This is truly a fantastic destination for a girls’ trip across the border — highly recommend...
