Kendall Lake Shelter — Attraction in Boston Township

I love this place! One of my favorite places in Ohio. In the winter it's alright, but spring summer and fall are picture perfect. There's a pretty 1 mile hike around the lake that I've done with toddlers and young children, and a 3.5 mile hike behind the lake that is one of my top 3 in the valley! I've never seen it too busy, and it's got hills but people are still about to run it if they're hardcore. The shelter is so cute, I wanted to get married there but peeked inside and saw it's not a good venue for that. It would be great for a family reunion or birthday party. There's fishing, picnic tables, some grills, bathrooms...

It's always beautiful here. Good for a quick walk or a long hike. Another of my happy places. Even on the coldest and windiest of days when most are warm at home, so peaceful and relaxing to just hear the sounds of those that call...

Pretty neat place. This place looks like a modern building but it was an original building from the CCC when the park was formed in the first half of the 20th century. This looks like an awesome place to have a wedding or other...
