Spent two hours walking the trails while a friend was at the hospital for an appointment. Very convenient, adequate parking and facilities. Lots of options, mostly with some elevation. The one main trail was wide and flat, almost all of the side trails and loops were rocky but well worn. After a very dry August, there was virtually no water on the site, the streams and small ponds were parched . Signage throughout was nonexistent, except for the map at the trailhead. Lots of small deer trails to distract, I was up for an adventure, but not everyone is. My next goal is to the friends group, to see what kind of help they need. My strong recommendation is that they work on signage. It would be a OK spot for a frequent flyer, but I assume it would be challenging for a first time. Still comes. It’s a city park and an oasis in otherwise populated area....
