This park exemplifies the need for skate parks in Boulder. My son is just learning to skateboard and is taking lessons. Guess what? The class gets in a van an drives to communities outside of Boulder to go to decent skate parks. Boulder needs a great skate park on par with the great bike park at Valmont. Scott Carpenter skate park is not safe in my opinion due to the homeless issues there and has seen very little care. Boulder is a wealthy community.
