Stein Brewing Company — Restaurant in Boulder

My partner and I recently visited every brewery in Boulder. It was a daunting task but somebody had to do it!

Of all the breweries we tried this one had the best beer in our opinion. The selection of beer styles is fairly large and each style we've tried has been exceedingly well done.

This is very much an industrial micro brewery. If you're looking for ambience, a kitchen, and a sports bar like feel you'll have better luck on Pearl St. If excellent beer (and maybe a game of darts) is more your goal however, I can not recommend...

My wife and I stopped by the other night, and what a treat it was. The taproom sits among auto body shops in a light industrial part of town. It couldn't be less pretentious. We split four beers. I worked across the street for a few months and went there several times. The owner is always talking to customers and I've had some great conversations with him about homebrewing. Always has a few different beers and he is always trying new things. It's easy to miss but its' simplicity, great beer, and easy atmosphere make it a small brewery worthy of adding to a brewery tour.
