As a wedding adventure photographer, capturing a wedding at Green Mountain Falls Lodge, located near Boulder, CO, was an extraordinary experience. This hidden gem, nestled in the heart of the Rockies, offers a perfect blend of rustic elegance and serene natural beauty, making it ideal for couples seeking both adventure and charm on their special day.
The lodge’s historic architecture, with its cozy and intimate atmosphere, provided a picturesque backdrop for both traditional and candid shots. The mountain views, coupled with the lodge’s warm wooden interiors, created a sophisticated yet relaxed setting that added to the magic of the occasion. Whether it was the couple’s first look or candid moments during the reception, every part of the day felt natural and timeless in such a beautiful location.
One of the standout moments was capturing the couple around the tranquil lake near the lodge. The reflection of the surrounding mountains and trees on the water’s surface, especially at sunset, offered some truly breathtaking and romantic shots. The nearby hiking trails and waterfalls also added a touch of adventure to the day, giving the couple the opportunity to steal away for private, scenic moments that felt deeply personal and awe-inspiring.
For couples who love nature but also want a touch of mountain-town charm, Green Mountain Falls Lodge is an unbeatable location near Boulder. The venue’s versatility allowed me to create a beautiful range of photos, from classic and posed to candid and adventurous, capturing the full essence of the couple’s love story against Colorado’s...

It is pretty icy, and snow packed in the winter, but the lower parts of this trail coming up from Chautauqua park melt faster than the top, so you can have some dry areas to hit as well. Round trip from.the bottom is about 1,400 feet of ascent, and about 5 miles. You can add on some other sections to make it a longer run, which I do quite often. If you are a good mountian runner, its about an hour or less round trip from Chautauqua park. If your are hiking...

They provide scenery of the city and views of Longs Peak and Mt. Meeker. You can get to the Green Mountain Lodge just across the road from Realization Point. From the lodge you can pick up on the Ranger Trail (my favorite) which summits Green Mountain. No bathrooms, but there are two...
