We went twice to this beach. Once on December 26th, and then again on December 30th. December 26th, Florida was having a very odd cold spell, so it was around the 40's-50's, I'm from wisconsin, so this time of year, we'd call it a warm spell. The beach was empty , we went at sunset and the view was amazing. The sand is white and soft. The 30th was a more normal day for Florida high around 80, and the beach was busy. Traffic was awful getting there. However, this beach is huge, and we had no problem finding parking or a beach spot. It never felt crowded. It has life guards, bathrooms, changing and rinsing off areas near parking. If you're looking to go shelling, you'll have no trouble. Found several intact sea dollars and full intact shells.
