The Cox Health exercise facility is separate from the city's Park and rec but it's in the same building so Google asks me to comment. I went there to Pam's exercise class today. I was the only one that showed up. I showed up at the time the class was suppose to start. The chairs weren't set up or anything (as had been the only other time I visited). The Instructor starts rambling about I'll be the only one but it's up to you if you want to stay...and keeps repeating it. Well I didn't drive all this way to take the class only if others show up. She claimed there was something about a 5-minute rule that neither her nor the manager (that I asked), clarified. They focused on people usually getting there early. I don't care what other ppl do.. If they want people there early they should put it on the schedule and have a different time. Seemed like she really didn't want to work and the manager had poor communication skills. No one could explain anything well and that's pretty typical there and of younger people nowadays. The people at the front desk can never answer a question intelligently. They usually have no answer. (Poor training). They do know how to take your temperature when you walk in the door. Never encountered this before in all the decades that I've used gyms. But then I've never encountered a gym where we couldn't take our water bottles with us when we walked around the track. We have to leave them outside the room. People in the community seems to be thankful that the head of Cox is retiring..We hope the next...
Read moreThey did not inform that you have to purchase tickets online in advance when I called. Got over there to find maybe 30 people in the pool and more leaving, but they still would not let anyone in because tickets sold online even though the people had clearly left. Nixa is actually letting people in as people leave. I recommend Nixa instead since they are doing it as should be done so others can get a chance to swim. When I called Branson rec Plex to inquire they were extremely rude. Again, I recommend Nixa if you actually want to swim. Don't waste time and effort for Branson parks...

My only complaint is that they expect you to purchase food from their concession stand instead of allowing people to bring in their own cooler with snacks and healthier beverages. Some of us do not like to buy that kind of food and eat a little healthier, and would prefer not to have to go all the way out to our vehicle and stand in the parking lot to eat. Other than that, it's...
